Qualigen launches Dulotex® tablets 30 mg and 60 mg

Dulotex® is a medication indicated for depression and diabetic neuropathic pain

June 22, 2018 - Qualigen launches Dulotex® Tablets, a medication indicated for major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder and diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain in adults.

Duloxetine, the Dulotex® Tablets active ingredient, is a serotonin and noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor (SNRI). Its action on pain is the result of strengthening  the descending inhibitory tracts of pain in the Central Nervous System.

Duloxetine is a dual antidepressant with a unique profile of indications compared to the rest of antidepressants. It is the only antidepressant with indication approved in the technical file since its launch for diabetic neuropathic pain, generalized anxiety and of course major depression. Diabetic peripheral neuropathy, which causes pain or loss of sensation in extremities, is one of the most frequent complications of diabetes in western countries.

Dulotex® Tablets is a daily administration drug available in 30 mg and 60 mg gastro resistant tablets that requires a prescription for dispensing.
